Refund & Cancellation Policy (Last updated: 21 July 2026)
1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all online payments made through the official website of THAKUR BIRI SINGH DEGREE COLLEGE, an aided Degree College having its office at Tundla Chauraha, Tundla, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.
By making an online payment through the College website, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this policy.
2. Online Fee Payments
The online payment facility is provided for the payment of:
- Admission Fees
- Registration Fees
- Tuition Fees
- Examination Fees
- Other fees or charges notified by the College from time to time
3. Cancellation of Payments
Once an online payment has been successfully processed, it cannot be cancelled.
4. Refund of Fees
Refund of any fee, wherever applicable, shall be governed by:
- The admission rules of the College
- Applicable University regulations
- UGC guidelines
- Government directions
- Any other statutory provisions in force from time to time
Submission of a refund request does not automatically entitle the applicant or student to receive a refund.
5. Duplicate or Excess Payments
If a student or applicant makes a duplicate payment or pays an amount in excess due to a technical error or any other reason, the excess amount shall be refunded after verification by the College.
6. Failed Transactions
If an online transaction fails but the amount is debited from the payer's bank account, the amount is generally reversed automatically by the concerned bank or payment service provider in accordance with their settlement process.
If the amount is not credited within the prescribed period, the student or applicant may contact the College with the relevant transaction details for assistance.
7. Processing of Approved Refunds
Where a refund is approved by the competent authority of the College, the amount shall normally be credited to the original payment source within 7 to 15 working days, subject to the processing timelines of the concerned bank and payment service provider.
